So, next I offer my geeky credentials starting way back when I dropped my lunch period in high school for the FIRST ever computer class offered. Yes, there were punch cards and big sheets of green and white paper involved! From there through college COBOL and the old TRS80 machines, I eventually learned about PC’s through working in places like IBM and some local software companies where I setup one of the first networks and learned about DOS operating systems.
Of course working through modern day Windows Operating systems and Microsoft networking I eventually completed my MCSE certification. I’ve always held positions in technical companies that involved training and support end-users, in addition to software design, implementation and continual updating.
During the 90’s I had my own software company that provided court reporting billing software to court stenographers. Due to the consolidation of the industry, I was eventually driven out of market profitability and eventually closed my business. Since then, I’ve again continued to work for other technical companies in my same trade of training, support, and development.
I’ve seen and grown along with the industry over the years. In my years of working and having my business I completed my BS degree at FAU in Computer Information Systems and later returned for training in Project Management. After my certificate class I successfully passed the PMI certification test and attained the PMP credential.
